Our cabin is in Brinnon, Washington, a tiny little town on the 101 about half way between Olympia and Port Townsend. Mapping it is your best bet, but for reference, it takes us about 2.5 hours to drive the South route from Seattle through Olympia and up the 101. Alternately, you can pop on a ferry and come the North route and it's about 50 minutes from the ferry / Poulsbo. 

But it's "remote." There's not a "real" town to pop over to, so get your groceries on the way in. From the South, the last chance is Hoodsport. From the North, we'd go to Poulsbo. There are plenty of little spots for essentials that are close, but not for big shops or "finer" ingredients.
